Hey all welcome to my page!
Born and raised a CT girl I took the adventure to move south and I couldn’t be any happier I did. As a homeowner, girlfriend, dog mom and digital manager in my free time I love DIY projects and turning our house into a home. I hope to inspire all of you to turn your spaces in your own as well and show you my ideas and finds along the way. I hope you enjoy!
Simple rustic home office
I wanted a light airy open space for my home office to do my work, blogging and crafts and honestly have 1 space to keep all my things organized other than on my kitchen table and night and drawer. Below are a few of pieces and recommendations to make your space feel cozy and awakening
Open desk with shelving
I was looking for a desk for our space with enough room to work as well as do my crafts on. I got the longer of the two and with the shelves it’s perfect for storage
Make sure you get yourself a nice office chair that’s comfy. I was looking into getting a very large chair but I think it would have closed off this space , as my boyfriend has a matching desk on the other wall. We got two for less than $100 so it was a steal
Costing shelves are a great add to your space. You can put whatever your heart desires on them from pictures to plants to i directional sayings. This gives you space where you ca decorate without taking up a lot of room on your workspace. Attached are some cute rustic ones for under $30 on amazon.

DIY christmas card display
I love Christmas cards and displaying them. Since we don’t have a mantel I decided to make my own display this year.
Here’s how to make your own at home for under $10.
1) Any kind of robe, string or ribbon of your desire
2) Close-pins . I got these from the target dollar spot, but you could always buy plain ones and paint them to your liking or keep them the natural wood
3) Bowes or something to add on the ends of the line
4) tape or command strips
