Wear what makes you feel comfortable at a summer day party.
Comfortable shoes are recommended since its a countryside location and there may be outdoor activities.

Finding the Venue
From the South / West
Turn off Bagnall Road left onto School Road. The hall will be on your left.
From the North
Come down Clewlows Bank from Stanley Moor. The hall is round the corner on the right, just past the church on the opposite side.
From the East
Follow Thornyedge Rd from Jacksons Tearoom. The hall is ahead of you at the end of the road.

Please feel free to choose whether you buy or bake. There is no pressure to spend beyond your budget.
Vegan food has no meat, fish, egg or milk. You can find it in the supermarket in the 'Free From' chiller / freezer / aisle. Milk and egg will be highlighted in bold on the ingredients list.
We have fridges at the venue.

We want you to come to see us, give us your time, celebrate our love, give us support and advice for marriage, bring food to share if you wish.
We will prepare a small plant for each guest to take home. We chose plants because we know that plants are like relationships, they grow and thrive with regular care 🥰

Significance of the Date
We will be married on the 17th. The number 17 sounds like 'together' in Mandarin Chinese.
In Chinese culture, May the 20th is a special date as it sounds like "I love you".
On the 21st, we will celebrate 2 people becoming 1 couple.
Not to mention its the year 2022, a good year for twosomes.
Proposal Story
Sat 1st Feb 2020, we were in our pyjamas having a debate about cars.
Katy: "If you buy a BMW, I'm not getting in it!"
Steve: "I have a present for you."
Katy: "I don't want a present! I want you to not get a BMW!"
Steve: [produces shiny] "I would like to marry you."

Steve: "Will you get in my BMW now?"
