If you’re looking for a safe and pretty place to walk outside this is it. During warmer months you’ll see kids playing in the courtyards, people having picnics and feeding the fish. There are also lots of public events is held here (check Facebook for upcoming events in the park). During Christmas time there is the Tinsel Trail with hundreds of Christmas trees decorated by local businesses and Ice skating in the park every year. There are concerts, food truck nights and so much more!

I recommend bringing a frisbee or football if you’re with a group or kids!
Quarters for fish food!
Bread for all the ducks!
Or a book or picnic to sit on a bench and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

On the weekends especially Bridgestreet is very kid friendly.

From the train rides for $3 a person, the carousel behind H&M, the water play area for kids during the summer in front of PF Chang’s for free, to live music from local schools and artists on the weekends.
Oh, & I can’t forget the annual GIANT christmas tree lighting 😉

Shopping and food for the adults + fun and entertainment for the kiddos!

I recommend Pieology Pizza Place & the Cookie store near Buckle for kid friendly / short wait food!

Also the Cinemark theatre is amazing! RECLINING LEATHER SEATS & if it’s just adults you can choose to watch the movie in a separate area and 🥂🥂!

For a really nice dinner date I recommend Connor’s for steak (definitely call ahead and make a reservation; there is always a wait)
Or Texas De Brazil if you want an experience like no other. This Brazilian Steakhouse is a buffet with different steaks (including but not limited to filet mignon), lamb chops, chicken served to you at your table from a sword + a cold/hot bar with different sides to choose from. 10/10 recommend!
