I've felt as if I would never make it out of certain situations. I've been abandoned, beaten, raped, mentally abused, ashamed, and forgotten...
I've been the child that grew up without her mother AND I am the mother who gave up her children. I have had a tramatic brain injury and have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and dissociative identity disorder(multiple personality disorder). I've put myself into risky situations and I've been suicidal. I may not be in active addiction, but I still wake up an addict everyday...
I want to share my journey and use the lessons learned to help others just trying to get by..... to walk beside those who are still stumbling around in the dark and help them find their light.
About
My vision is to be the voice of encouragement for the troubled youth, the addicts, those with mental health issues, who have been incarcerated, have disabilities... The ones that it seems the world has given up on (and maybe they've given up on themselves too)... To show them that they too are Priceless and can do anything they've ever dreamed of and here's why:
