Kind digital is about recognising that users of digital products are actually real-life people, who are deserving of our care and respect. And it’s about being conscious of the impact of our decisions on the planet. We need to act now to protect both people and the planet from harm.

The six pillars of kind digital are:

Mindful — paying care and attention to people’s wellbeing.

Ethical — protecting individuals, society and the planet.

Sustainable — protecting the planet and the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Equitable — ensuring individuals and groups of individuals are treated equally.

Inclusive — Recognising, respecting and celebrating each other’s differences. Making sure everyone feels valued and welcomed.

Accessible — making content and services fully available to everyone, including people with disabilities.
