About Me

Welcome to my page everyone! The birth name given to me is Nakia. Two words that derive from the origin of my name are: Pure and Faithful. I was born in a small town called Eden, North Carolina. My mother moved my siblings and I to Northern Virginia because she wanted to provide us with better opportunities. Every day I am grateful that she made that decision because I dont believe I would be here if she didn’t! I currently work at Dulles International Airport. I’ve completed my undergraduate studies at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Go Rams!🤘🏽 Alongside my full-time employment, I decided to embark on the path of entrepreneurship and start my own business! I’d love to start off by saying that I am grateful you have taken the time out of your day to visit my website. These next few pages are designed specifically to nurture your ascendance. Many blessings!

Mindset

Taking care of my mind and feeding it the proper nutrients is my top priority. I take the time out of each day to read one chapter, or at least for 15 minutes. Change is inevitable and I knew the first step to being a business owner, was to expand my mindset. “It’s not about what you do ; it’s about how you think about what you’re doing.” Below are a few top-tier reads that I suggest to help elevate your thought process:

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Start with Why by Simon Sinek

Atomic Habits by James Clear

Kind|Kia

I’ve named my business KindKia to remind myself of my purpose. Kindness is defined as “the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.” I walk this planet with open arms, open ears, and an open heart and I am here to offer my service for any basic commodity needs you may have! Let’s continue taking care of our hearts, minds, and bodies. The universe needs us.
