‘Ojo de Dios’ (which translates to God’s Eye) I like to call them Goddess Eye
Goddess Eye are an art tradition from the Huichol Indigenous group in Mexico, they call them Tsikuris.
They are symbolic maps of nature, reality, and the human spirit. These protective spiritual votives in a mandala form, come from a story of creation - “The Primordial Goddess used her hairs to weave the world and allow her kids to dance in it and they kept on expanding it until the land was created”.
Tsikuri means “the power to see and understand things unknown”, when I weave them I allow the feel in my heart to guide the thread, and create a pattern with a person or situation in my mind.

If you are interested in acquiring one of these pieces, DM me and I'll ask 2 questions that will help me begin your art piece. In return? I just ask that you do something for someone else, yup! that simple. It can be as small or as big of a gesture as long as it's helping someone else.
E.g.- you can ... pick up garbage around your neighborhood for a day, mown your grandma's yard and have tea with her or perhaps donate to an organization that can help your community.
This is a white canvas to show your kindness, to create a ripple effect. Once you share your experience, you'll deliver your Goddess Eye.
A piece of Art that will evoke your experience - a reminder of the beautiful soul you are and what you are capable to do for others.
My name is Priscila, born in Mexico City many moons ago, currently living in the Land of Living Skies, Saskatoon. I'm an artist - movement and creativity are the way I like to express.
I’ve been reconnecting with my Indigenous heritage (which was buried by European colonialism and nowadays Americanism). I want to honor where I come from, and show that there are other ways to make meaningful and valuable transactions.
Kin means Sun in Nahuatl & Mayan languages
(in english, it means related/family). See where I'm going with the name? Shining light to strengthen our community. A unified meaning coming from different cultural & language backgrounds.
Remember that you can be a ray of sunshine for someone else and that makes a difference in their and your own life. Buying things is not our natural purpose.
Art should be accessible to everyone. It is Magic - the creation of something that didn't exist. And everyone is capable of Magic.
Gracias ✨
