Tips below on a variety of different things I enjoy most; art, photography, travel, fashion and Copyediting.

I’ll let you in on a little secret: The best artists are detail-orientated. Great art often times means looking at the minor details the make up the composition, that in-turn makes the whole piece stand out. I have linked for the fine-artists my all-time favorite pastel set; it’s got a chalky yet smooth application and comes in a vibrant set!

I highly recommend these lens and cameras from Moment. They are compatible with almost all IPhones and give your phone the opportunity to create some gorgeous shots without having to spend hundreds of dollars buying a professional camera! I currently have the Wide Angle lens and recommend it especially for your first lens as it gives a all-in-one shot.

No matter where you are traveling, here are the top must have!! three apps I have found useful: Yelp, Airbnb, and a Costco credit card/ or Travelex Money card. 1. Yelp is great for finding awesome spots to eat, shop and visit and works in most countries ( it doesn’t working in Slovenia and Hungary but otherwise its worked for me!) 2. Airbnb is a must! It can be more expensive than staying in a Hostel, but if you plan early enough it can be less, or if you split the cost between a large group it’s well worth it. The reviews are very reliable and the hosts are almost always very kind and hospitable. 3. I personally think this is the best way to go. A Costco membership/ credit card has no international charges and I believe gives you 5% back for all purchases, which is such a steal! Plus you don’t have to worry about transferring crash, and if anything happens it’s easy to claim credit card protection and get your money back. Travelex Money card: This works well if you don’t want the hassle of foreign money transactions, especially if you’re going in between countries. It’s a flat ‘card’ that allows you to switch in between different currencies without the extreme charge.

The most important thing I’ve learned is to have a set of basics. What do I mean by that basics? No matter what style, gender, shape or age you are, having a set of basics is vital. Basics consist of: A plain color, well cut shirt; good pair of flattering jeans/pants and a solid color pair of shoes. The best thing about a set of basics is you can dress it up however you want, or rock it as is. It’s a great foundation to work off of or wear by itself. Most importantly though, it’s most important to find what makes you feel confident in. Not wearing what looks good on someone else, but what fits you and makes you go, “ Damn! I look good!” Make sure to check out my Pinterest for more ideas. (Picture not mine.)

Ah yes, I’m sure you’re wondering, “what is copyediting?” or “why is this relevant?” or “how about you leave me in peace with my bad grammar!” Copyediting is the secret gem in the rock that no one knows about. Unfortunately your standard high school grammar will not cut it, no matter how good you are. No worries though! Most colleges offer a class in Copyediting/ copywriting that can start you on the right track. Not only is it an extremely important thing to know, not only make you seem a LOT smarter, [*cough, cough* job interviews!] but you can also make money on the side as a freelancer, once you become experienced enough. So spread the word!
