My name is Jharmaine and I am the owner of Knotty But Sweet! I started sewing scrunchies for myself beginning of Feb 2021 because I wanted to look and feel somewhat presentable while working from home and attending daily teams meetings. Not wanting to give up my comfy WFH outfits (let’s be real, mostly hoodies and pajamas), I constantly wore my hair in a top knot so I looked put together. However, I quickly realized hair ties gave me bad headaches. I switched to scrunchies that I had bought from Amazon but was always disappointed in the quality. And they never looked fluffy and would get lost in my hair! So I started making my own oversized scrunchies and knotty scrunchies (bow tie scrunchies) and KBS was born. I launched my store May 2021 and have attended several local markets to spread my scrunchie obsession!
