Hi! My name is Haily and I am the founder and operator of Kodablue Boutique. I am in my junior year of college studying early childhood education (crazy time to be dong that right?) at the University of Toledo where I commute to a couple times a week from Michigan. I love to workout 5 days a week and to go on day trips/adventures with my dog Koda.

I started making bandanas when I got my dog Koda the Sheepadoodle. I would always look on Etsy for bandanas but either didn’t find prints I liked or I didn’t want to spend $20+ on a bandana that I know I could make. I started out by hand sewing a bandana for Koda (which didn’t go well) and then looked into sewing machines and bought one, I did not know how to use one at all but with a couple of YouTube videos I was successful.

I got the idea to sell the bandanas when I would post pictures of Koda wearing them on his Instagram (@koda_the_sheepadoodle) and would recieved such positive feedback. I love creating the bandana’s and finding fun prints that you don’t see a lot of places! I offer two styles, over the collar (collar slips through opening in bandana) and tie-on.
