About

Who is Kori Wallace?

The musician/poet combo that you didn’t know existed. I’m a preserver and creator of art through sounds and stories. I tell those stories while fronting a few bands, the most important one being The Crew. Soon, you’ll know the sound and the name.

Be There In Spirit

I rarely do the same show twice... you should come to find out. If you can’t, no worries. The videos will follow soon after the show for those were there in spirit.

My top picks (Food)

Creativity needs brain food... here are my favorites

I’ve had the luxury of going to a few cities in this lifetime. I’ll show you a few must-haves in case you’re in some of the places I’ve been.

Chef Teach’s World Famous House of Mac

If you’re ever in my hometown of Miami, you’ve got to slide through Wynwood to see my guy Teach. My mom and I used to follow him all around the city back when this restaurant was just a food truck that parked in secluded locations every other day. Definitely a Must-Have

Lolo’s Chicken & Waffles

There are a few locations out west, but my experience has been with the one in Phoenix. You’ll catch a strong case of itis, but you’ll be reaching for more Kool-Aid immediately after. MUST-HAVE

Pepe’s Tacos

Everyone knows that I love Chicago. It’s the only city that can keep up with Miami, in my opinion. So much good food. Too much, actually. Pepe’s is another chain that rocks my world when I’m in the Chi. Along with Shark’s, Giordano’s, and a few other places.

Dreamland BBQ

If you’re ever in Alabama, you need to swing through Birmingham, Montgomery, or Tuscaloosa (which are probably the only reasons you’d be in Alabama anyway) and go to Dreamland. Best ribs in the south. No question.

Southern Hands Family Dining

This has become a favorite during my time in Memphis. I haven’t had better yams at any other restaurant here. They’re consistently great. The food is seasoned just right, and the tea makes poor health almost worth it. Just don’t go on a Sunday, you’ll be waiting awhile.

Oceana Grill

I love New Orleans. I love the accents, the culture, the charm They all remind me of south Florida sometimes. I love the food, too. Oceana Grill is a guaranteed stop whenever I’m there. Get the chargrilled oysters. Trust me. You won’t regret it.

Exit 87 BBQ

Best. BBQ. Sandwich. In. The. States.
If you’re ever on a trip down I-40 East toward Nashville, take a pit stop on Exit 87. There’s a Love’s on one side, and the best BBQ truck in the region on the other. Open everyday except Sunday. It’s worth making a random trip to central or East Tennessee. I’d go now, if I could.

More Of Everything To Come Soon

I’ve got many stories to tell... stay tuned for the next one in the book. Love🖤
