Update: I’m taking the year off from teaching to stay home and raise my daughter and use my monat business to supplement income. I’m leaving the education bio because it is a part of me but I’m capitalizing on the freedom and flexibility my company Monat offers . If I can do it with a sassy toddler, so can you!

My name is Kristen and here’s a little about me:

EDUCATOR
I’m a certified Secondary English Adolescent Education Teacher.
While I’ve taught English Literature to students from grades 6-11, I’ve recently designed and implemented a social justice curriculum in humanities that has been the highlight of my teaching career. Using discussion, escape rooms and culturally relevant scenarios and journaling to bring literature to life and implement genuine writing practices that allow students to practice a range of writing from essays, journaling and regents prep.

MONAT Market Partner:
I started selling Monat after using it exclusively as a VIP for several months and seeing how it transformed my hair from dull, dry, DAMAGED and unmanageable and frizzy to soft and healthy.

Since becoming a market partner I’ve not only transformed my own hair and brought my curls back to life (and actually learning how to style and care for them) but I’ve also helped transform and heal the hair of multiple women and men!

After falling in love with Monat hair care I discovered their skin and wellness lines. I never , ever , ever thought I would have good skin. I assumed acne scars and permanent breakouts were just my destiny as I’ve had bad skin my entire life. Now I know that anything is possible when you are consistent and use natural, vegan products that are made with nature in mind and tailored to your skin type.

I have a beautiful, sassy, silly little girl that I adore. We are big Gabby’s Dollhouse fans and love chasing each other and getting “scared”. I love sharing recipes for our little ones and family meals too so if you have some good ones send me my way ❤️
