Hunt graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors in Journalism.

In April 2021, Hunt was selected for writing residency at Writer’s Colony in Eureka Springs, Arizona.

She is the author of 2 poetry chapbooks- I’m Much Better on Paper (2017) & Write or Die (2020)
