I am a wife of a farmer, mother of two beautiful girls, and together with my husband owner of Kayla's Southern Roots. Since graduating hair school in 2004 at the ripe age of 19, I'd say I've dove in "headfirst", with any and every chance of education I come across I am on top of it! From starting out doing a two-year apprenticeship to now continuing my education in business growth and learning the latest cut and color techniques to keep you updated and looking gorgeous! I’ll most likely be the first one you see… or hear when entering the salon! My goal is to welcome each and every guest, striving to provide an “at home” Christian based atmosphere to get you from where you are to where you want to go unlike any other salon you've experienced before! Focusing on gray blending, blonding, and women’s cuts, after chatting , I will assess your hair, listen to your desires, make suggestions, and finally come up with the perfect game plan!

Hi, I'm Monica Daigrepont, a stylist with 12 years experience. I specialize in color & extensions although not limited to only those services. If you see me outside of the salon you will find me spending time with my husband (Josh) & two kids (Zach & Mikahla) who are my everything. We love our church family at Longview Baptist & you will usually find me singing on the praise team or behind the scenes working the sound board. I’m Ashley Roszell, a 10+ year veteran in the hair world and I've been happy to join these beautiful ladies here at Kayla’s Southern Roots back in March of 2023. I specialize in Blonding services that are custom to each guest needs. My signature look is a low maintenance blonde that is blended and bright. My services are not limited to blondes as red heads and brunettes hold a special place with me too! When I am not behind the chair my specialty hones in on my sweet family. As a farmers wife and the mother of 2 children(Easton 10 and Hadley 7) I enjoy Sunday afternoon farm rides and so much time spent at the ballpark with them. I’m thankful to be apart of the Deville community where we attend Longview Baptist Church as members for 8 years now. My mission is to provide a humble, happy environment while utilizing the latest techniques to ensure your best self image.

My name is Lindley Moss Rutledge. You’ll find me working in the suite to the back left. Back there you’ll find me working on what’s probably a major color transformation, which is what I love to do. Occasionally you can also find me working on a men’s fade, special occasion makeup, or transforming someone’s natural eyelashes.
