I am Landy and I am a new Bookstagrammer (@landys_books) from South Africa.

I am a Lawyer by profession and I hold a Masters degree in Law. I have a keen interest in doing legal research and legal writing.

I am originally from the Cape winelands area and I am now living in the Gauteng region in South Africa.

I enjoy writing reviews about the books that I have read as well as to make some book recommendations.

I will also share some information on my other favorite things.

I generally read non-fiction books but I also read some fiction books such as romance, crime thrillers and suspense. I am further a keen collector of beautiful cookbooks. I love to cook tasty and healthy dishes for my little family. 😋😊

I usually prefer physical copies of a book but I don't mind reading ebooks and listening to audiobooks.

My reviews are usually concise and subjective and they convey my honest response to the book.

Depending on the book, I may explore themes, writing style, plot as well as my overall thoughts about the book in general.
