Hi! I’m Lane Schneider running for Redlands City Council District 4. I want to provide a fresh perspective to our council and empower the voices of our community.

In the 33 years that I have lived in Redlands, I have learned to listen and serve people’s interests and the needs of our community.

I am running to serve the community of Redlands and small business owners in hopes to work together to achieve the goals we set for our city.

In our world, information is like water. We cannot survive without it. But if too much pours over us - we drown.

Measure T

I’m the only candidate with a different perspective, one that favors people over insatiable government. As the key leader of SAVE REDLANDS-No on G PAC, I led a winning strategy against the city’s March ballot Measure G. Redlands voters agreed with our “no” argument, and Measure G lost. The city has presented another ballot measure for November, Measure T, a 1% city sales and use tax. I’m the only candidate in District 4 who opposes this tax. Stay tuned to learn the reasons why I oppose this tax.

I’ve been involved in political campaigns for many years throughout my life, but campaigning is not governing.

Issues can be studied, and facts and procedures can be learned. I love thinking and learning, so I’m confident my lack of previous government service isn’t a handicap. I will listen to you and work for you. I’m ready to serve the people of Redlands to the best of my ability.
