About Leah

If you like tacos, dogs, a good podcast, and the open road, then we have a LOT in common! I grew up as a military kid, but we didn’t get the fancy assignments like Germany, Korea, or Hawaii. No, no. We got North Dakota, Nebraska, and Illinois. I’m a mid-westerner through and through, but I’ve got a mean travel bug that has taken me from Colombia to Hungary, and a dozen places in between. Let’s swap travel stories!

I began photographing portraits in 2011, booked my first wedding in 2012, took my business full time in 2018, and the rest is history! This is what I do for a living, but it’s more than just a way to pay the bills. Creating art and working with so many amazing people is my calling, and I’m thankful for the season of life I’m in now that provides such flexibility—to, say, shoot your Virginia mountain wedding, or meet you on the beach in Florida!

Wherever life takes you, I can be there to document it. ❤️
