This is the first installment in the series, and pioneer of the toys to life genre. Equipped with a portal, and a small team of Skylanders, new portal masters set out on an exciting journey together throughout Skylands to fight against Chaos and the forces of darkness that loom across the lands.
But to completely get the full experience and discover all the secrets Skylands has to offer players are tested with the task of increasing their collections to unlock elemental gates which unlock new paths, secrets, and rewards. But Skylanders weren't the only figures to be collected. There were also items, sidekicks, and even expansion packs to hunt down.

The second installment with it's brand new gimmick, as the title suggests, introduced not only new characters and some familiar faces but also a new class of heavy hitters. The giants! Giant characters possess the ability to hurl heavy boulders, smash through floors, and even access special areas of hat only they have the power to uncover!
Also two entirely new mini games were introduced in the form of lock puzzles, and Skystones. Lock puzzles is just that, a puzzle game. Requiring players to rotate a lock moving a little character against gravity through twists, turns, and portals trying to collect the orbs to break the lock. Skystones is a battle game using stones to fill nine tailed board with their respective Skystones. The object of the game is to fill the board with as many stones of your color as possible. When a player places a Skystones adjacent to the opponent's they will battle. Each stone has notches indicating its power. If its power is higher than the opponent's stone then they will win that stone and it will change color respectively. If a stones power is equal to or less than the adjacent Skystones then the turn will end in stalemate.
Giants, with it's new characters, mini games, and extensive campaign makes this game as huge as the cast in it and guaranteed to bring hours of fun and excitement.

The third game in the series, has now introduced a new band of Skylanders, and within those are a set of which that can switch out their top and bottom halves with those of other characters completely changing their dynamic.
There are more challenges and missions outside of the lengthy main campaign than ever before, including bonus missions, time attack, and various arena modes as well. Players have a new hub world to explore in between missions as well that is significantly larger than the air ship on giants as well. There's a shop to buy hats, legendary treasure, and more. Sky stones are absent this time around and lock puzzles are now a puzzle game where you switch in between two characters and navigate each other through various obstacles to try to reach one another. The new mini game here is a simple fishing game in which you navigate your fishing bobber around hazards to try and snag and real in the fish swimming around the area.
Outside of the 11 or so hour campaign there is loads here to do with a ton of collectables and replay value. Either trying to unlock all those dual elemental gates or collecting stars to increase your portal master rank, you will be long pressed to complete everything this game has to offer.

There are actually two versions of this game as most of you are probably aware. Superchargers, the main event title, sort of speak, with it's dynamic adventure mode mixed with vehicle elements of racing and combat sections throughout. And then there's the 3ds and Wii stand alone titles Superchargers Racing which are entirely different games. Superchargers Racing is exactly that, a racing game. There is no platforming, and that's ok here. This title gets a wide range of feedback from it's peers and is definitely a mixed bag as being refered to as half a game being sold as a full one.
But as far as racing gamea go this is outstanding and has that skylanders feel with some nintendo love. Also throwing in its own exclusive new skylanders, Bowser and Donkey Kong which can only be used on Nintendo platforms and will not be recognized on others. The tracks on this game are decided into land, air, and sea. You will have to keep that in mind when choosing your vehicle because you won't be able to use a water vehicle on land or air tracks(obviously).
There's a bit of a mario kart vibe here with the addition of a health bar. When it depletes completely you will be stunned for a brief time before regaining your life and begin racing again.

Ring of Heroes is a mobile online rpg game. Portal masters have been sucked into the world of Skylands and must work together to stop the forces of evil and save Skylands once again!
As of 12/3/2020 the game underwent a complete overhaul and was revamped entirely. All previous progression and data players once had is now lost, and must start completely from the beginning. But with that downside, the game has been improved in almost every regard. Graphics, mechanics, and interface, along with many other features have been redone.
With a ton of characters to summon, a full blown adventure mode, and various other game modes to boot, this game is sure to keep you stuck to your phone more so than ever!
