About Me
Welcome to Katlyn Jane Photography & Weddings
Hey!
I’m Katlyn, a wedding + boudoir photographer based in Lethbridge, serving Southern Alberta and beyond.
I am Alberta girl who loves the prairies, the mountains, adventure and connection.
I am a mama to Goldie, dog mama to Mila, and partner to Kyle. I like knitting, plants, tattoos and a great pair of jeans.
I have been photographing weddings and boudoir since 2012, took my wedding planning certification in 2015 and started the photo booth in 2017.
I believe wholeheartedly in empowering every day women, and boudoir is one way of accomplishing this. Boudoir is a vulnerable experience and I hope that I can help you discover your confidence and beauty.
The Boudoir Experience
A little information about your session with Katlyn Jane Photography & Weddings
Booking
Send an email, DM or contact me through my website. I will send you a contract and you will sign that and pay a $200 non-refundable deposit that is applied to your session. You will also choose what kind of image release you are comfortable with.
Preparation
Before your session you will decide if you want me to book hair and makeup for you, or to book it or do it yourself.
You will receive a boudoir guide via text or email that will include tips for prepping for your session and ideas on what to bring for wardrobe.
The Session
I will turn on some music, we will go through the outfits (clothes, accessories and lingerie) that you bring, and put the looks together and get shooting. I guide you through your whole session, where to look, put your hands, move your hips and feet, and I will remind you to take a deep breath.
The session lasts about 1.5 hours and we do at least two looks (but that depends on how many you outfits you bring).
After your session
Your photos will be delivered to you in an online gallery within 4 weeks. Depending on what collection you choose determines how many photos you will then select from your gallery to download.
Photos may be shared on my website, Facebook and Instagram if you chose that option in your image release.
