1 ) For making Pizza dough -
- Take 1/4 cup warm water, 1tbsp sugar and 1-1/2 tsp yeast. Mix and let yeast froth up.
- Then take 1/2 cup plain flour + 1/2 cup wheat flour and 1/2tsp salt (you can use only plain flour, I used both half-half). Add froth up yeast mixture.
- Knead for around 20 mins.Let it rest for around 1.5 hours.
2. Prepare standard Makhani sauce (using any paneer makhani recipe) I followed "cook with manali" Paneer makhani recipe to make Makhani Sauce. Few tips to keep in mind :
- Just make the grinded makhani paste quite thick.
- After making makhani paste, heat butter and oil , add red chilly powder + coriander powder sauté it for a minute. Add the grinded Makhani gravy and cook it for next 5-6 minutes. Add 1-2 tsp sugar, salt to taste, garam masala, kasuri methi and fresh cream and cook for 2 minutes. Then let it cool.
- I have also sautéd Paneer separately in butter with mint, Kasuri methi, black pepper and salt.
3. To make cheese sauce -
• Combination of Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese - 1 cup
• Milk - 1/2 cup
• Butter - 1tbsp
Boil water in a pan and put glass bowl on. Add above and mix it well using whisker (I don't have hand mixer but if you do have please use it, it will make the process much quicker).
Keep whisking it till you get a thick cheese sauce like consistency.
4. FINALLY the last step to make pizza -
- Divide the rested pizza dough now in half. Take one portion and roll it round with thick boundary. Apply cheese sauce on it.
- Cover it with tortilla or aata chapati(I have used chapati).
- Put Makhani Sauce on it. Then paneer and any other topping you may like.
- Add lotsss of mozzarella cheese. You can also add other cheeses too. I only had mozzarella.
Oven Settings :
- Preheat oven at 200 degree for around 4-5 mins and select bottom element mode on your oven.
-Once preheated, keep the pizza in it, bake for around 18-20 minutes and it should be ready to eat!!
