About Me

Hey, I'm Lex!

I have had the blessing of owning many pets throughout my life, from chickens, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, a turtle, cats, dogs, and many others in between. I’ve loved a lot of little personalities, cared for pets into their senior years, and even hand raised a neonatal kitten or two. All of my own pets have been a joy to me, and I love meeting other people's sweet babies as well - which is why I decided to start pet sitting.

I joined Rover in 2020 as a side gig, but my small town of Elberta was lacking in pet care options, so I grew exponentially in the following year and plan to continue as long as my clients will have me! It has been a pleasure building relationships with my regulars and their furbabies. Just as I have with them, as your pet sitter, I aim to be reliable, punctual, organized, and form trust with both you and your pet. My furbabies are like my family, and I will treat yours just the same.

Feel confident in leaving your pets well taken care of when you are away. Schedule a meet and greet with me today at 251-202-9366 or book online below!

FAQs

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?

Elberta, Lillian, Josephine, Perdido Beach, Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach.

WHAT TYPES OF ANIMALS DO YOU ACCEPT?

I sit primarily for cats and dogs, but I am open to other animals upon request! (Some I have sat for recently are horses, chickens, goats, and donkeys to name a few.) What animals I haven't owned or sat for before, I am glad to learn how to care for. I accept senior and special needs pets on a case-by-case basis based on how confident I am in my ability to meet their specific care requirements. I do not have breed preferences or dog size preferences.

ARE THERE ANY TYPES OF DOGS YOU DO NOT ACCEPT?

I aim to create a positive environment for both me and the pet(s) I am sitting for, but I am a pet sitter, not a licensed trainer. For this reason, I do not accept puppies or adult dogs who are known to be aggressive, are not potty or housetrained, or have severe/destructive separation anxiety. This relates to puppies or adult dogs who are known to bite, scratch, and behave territorially towards people or frequently chew, urinate, defecate, and otherwise cause damage to the home.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?

Cash, Check, Venmo, or Card. (There will be a 3% processing fee on electronic payments.)

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?

I am happy to discuss payment options that will best serve the length or frequency of services provided.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

There must be a twenty four hour notice minimum to avoid a 10% cancelation fee.
