After graduating from Savannah State University, the Atlanta native came to New York City with nothing but a dollar and a dream. Ms. McKee quickly landed a job on the “street team” at NYC’s legendary radio station, Hot 97. It was in that moment, she was first recruited by one of the most influential women in hip hop, Remy Ma where Jahylin became Remy’s digital social manager and later worked on projects for some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

The expertise and international connections Jahylin developed in her early career inspired her to strike out on her own and create her own public relations agency – J.McKee & Co in 2018. Since then, JMC has garnered placements in publications such as Forbes, Good Morning America, Vogue, Essence, People Magazine, E! News, CFDA, and more. She has also worked alongside brands and talent such as Dapper Dan, Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment, Facebook, Tidal, MTV, NBC and NYFW.

Ms.Mckee understands the needs of high-profile individuals, and the “no-excuse” work ethic they expect.

As she continues to leave her mark, Jahylin’s overall goal is to empower the next generation of young black girls to follow their dreams and to live their life out loud and unapologetically.
