when people treat you like they don’t care, believe them.

as I’m sure you can tell, my name is Lila Child and I have decided to create this website today to spread positivity whilst going through hard times (as I have experienced many times).

my journey has not recently began, growing up with siblings that need special attention, swapping homes, getting hit by covid badly whilst that having a impact on your family is a few of the things I’ve been through as the rest is hard to understand.

I’ve been to therapy for my anxiety multiple times and work with special people to help me continue this exhausting οΏΌjourney and it’s very difficult. everyone has there own journey and there own path to create and this is mine just starting, whilst helping you!

poems that might help you through difficult times 🀍

It’s strange to believe that reading something off your screen could help you further on in life, but based on experience, it’s honestly true!

here are some poems for you to help you persevere and stay strong!! 🫢🏻🌷

poem number 1 ! 🌷

you keep me grounded
when i'm drifting away
keep my heart pounding
when i'm looking your way..

you keep me fighting when
i'm falling apart you hold me
tighter when i can't feel my heart.

oh just how just how can I make
it up? It’s impossible, it’s just love.

poem number 2 ! 🀍

It was you, it was me, it was the silence underneath the stars that understood my heartbeat and its racing.
You told me nothing.
I believed everything.
In that moment
I found life.
In that moment
I found you.

poem number 3 ! 🌷🀍

miracles

i know right now you feel broken like a pile of shattered glass.
as though your wishes are all strewn like dandelion seeds amongst the grass.

i know you feel like a snowflake tumbling wildly on its fall. you had hoped for a soft landing but you're still swept up into it all.

but your dreams aren't birthday candles that you have one chance to blow. and failure isn't permanent - it just gives you room to grow.

the earth has its tragedies too, but it is still a beautiful place. just take a look at all the miracles staring you right in the face:

broken windows can be repaired. brand new dandelions can sprout. and flames can be reignited even when you blow them out.

it's the world's way of telling you you're going to be just fine. all you have to do
is give it a little bit of time.
