I had to make a hard decision when school started this year due to schools not operating! It was tough because I always knew that working fulfilled me in so many ways. Interacting with people, being a leader, teacher and providing income for our family. Now I worked my way up over 15 years in property management. I asked my employer if they could work with me until we see how things go with schools. I was told unfortunately you can’t do your job unless you’re here. How could I work while my kids aren’t in school?! I knew I had to do something, we built a lifestyle based on both of our incomes. I couldn’t come home and do nothing to contribute financially.
