I’m Lisa Shebl! I’m an Elite Invisible Bead Extension Artist based in Folsom, California!

I’m a born and raised California native! I’ve lived in lots of different places in Cali- I was born in So Cal, I moved to the Bay Area for a few years growing up, then Sacramento suburbs, Sonoma wine country, Sierra Nevada Mountains and now I’m in the Sierra Foothills.

I started beauty school when I was 16 years old and still in high school ! The beauty industry has carried me through many seasons of life! I worked part time doing hair through college while getting my degree in psychology, and also later in life through cooking school.

I love this industry; especially how creative and flexible it is.

For the past few years I’ve been doing hair full time and opened my own salon suite in May. I just love my space; it’s private, relaxing and luxurious. Which is everything I’ve ever I hoped I could provide for my clients.

I’m a single mom to my 10 year old son, Eli. We have a happy peaceful life with 3 furry friends that bring us endless laughs.

Outside of work I love spending time with my friends and family being silly, having fun, and making memories!!

I can’t wait to see you in my chair!

LET’S STAY IN TOUCH

Student for life over here!!

I absolutely love learning, it never gets old for me.

Most current obsession is Invisible Bead Extensions. It’s the only extension method I offer and I truly believe it’s the best!! I’ve been certified with them for a little over 2 years (Stylist for 20+ years). I am a Master Stylist and Elite Artist with IBE. I have completed all 4 masters courses including cutting, coloring, advanced technique, and business.

I’ve taken more cutting and coloring classes than I can count. The past few years Ive been enjoying online classes the most. I watch hair classes like others watch Netflix!! I love learning advanced foil placement and hand painting techniques. Staying up to date on the latest trends is so fun for me.

What does all this mean for you? I work tirelessly on my continued education and never stop perfecting my craft!!

“I have been a color/extension client of Lisa's for a year, and I couldn't be happier. I get compliments on my hair on a daily basis. Her studio is beautiful, clean and relaxing. I feel confident in her taking care of my hair, making sure my extensions are perfectly sewn in and not damaging my hair. I feel so lucky to have found Lisa!”

- Alexa H.

“Lisa is an incredible stylist! She is talented, kind, and professional! My hair looks and feels amazing! Overall, a wonderful experience. Every time!”

- Stacy J.

“My hair is fabulous for the first time in my life because of this beauty queen - Lisa! She turned my hair from blah (thin and boring) to something I love about my image. One of the many things I love about her is so OCD, taking the time to perfect your hair. She takes classes to be the BEST in her field and it really shows in her work.

I tried hair extensions and I was so impressed with her technique. My hair remained so healthy throughout the entire year of extensions. When I took them out, it was like my hair didn’t miss a beat.

I even know how to style my hair because of what she taught me. She gives you thorough tips and suggests the exact products that will work for you. I trust her so much and wouldn’t make a hair decision without her.

Obviously, Lisa is my favorite hair stylist of all time!”

- D.T.

“Lisa has been doing my hair for over 20 years!! I couldn’t imagine working with someone else.”

- Nicole S.

“Lisa is amazing! She is not only very skilled at what she does, she is thoughtful and really cares about her clients and what is best for their hair. 10/10 recommend her!”

- Kathleen M.

“Love Lisa Shebl Hair! She is amazing at what she does and works miracles!!”

Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel an appointment, a 24 hour notice is required via text!

(Please no social media messages, emails or voicemails)

If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, do not show or you arrive late to your appointment you will be subject to a cancellation fee.

How To Arrive To Your Appointment

Please have clean hair, washed within the last 48 hours, with minimal styling products.

For best results, if you are receiving a color service, I also recommend using a clarifying shampoo such as Davines Solu Shampoo to help remove any product buildup that might affect your hair’s ability to get the best results from the service.

While it is rare, color may end up on clothing, so please keep that in mind while dressing for your appointment. I also have robes available for you to change into, if you prefer more protection.

Guests/Kids

I work in a small space, so please do not bring guests to your appointment.

I love your littles, but I do have a no kids policy in place for the salon, unless they are the ones receiving the service.

I don’t have a dedicated space for them, and it can be dangerous because there are hot tools, sharp tools, chemicals and other hazards within reach of little hands.

WASHING YOUR EXTENSIONS

I suggest washing your hair 1 to 2 times a week with an extension safe shampoo and conditioner! Washing your hair everyday will dry your hair out and shorten the life of your extensions!

Before washing, make sure you brush out all of your tangles! And don’t forget to cleanse between the rows.

Avoid conditioner at the scalp and where the extensions are tied in to avoid build up.

If you simply cannot go without washing daily, do the “half wash” to preserve the extension hair. Start by sectioning off the top section of your hair,  then braid your extensions so they stay out of the way. Once you have your hair sectioned and ready to wash, put your head directly under the faucet/sink/shower and shampoo & condition the top section of your natural hair.

This will allow you to wash more often if you feel the need to!

DRYING YOUR EXTENSIONS

Before drying your hair be sure to gently squeeze the water out!

Make sure you use a heat protectant before blow drying and that each row is completely brushed out from the top of the weft, to the bottom.

I don’t recommend letting your extensions air dry but if you do, make sure the top of the row (where it is attached to your head) gets completely dried to prevent matting and molding.

PRODUCTS

When choosing a shampoo, conditioner and other hair products, make sure that they are extension friendly! If you have products at home that you would like to use, or are interested in trying something new, please check with your stylist before doing so!

STYLING

Even though you have extensions you can still straighten and curl your hair, but make sure you’re using a heat protectant before styling! Your hair is still susceptible to damage, so use hot tools with precaution!

With extensions, it’s super important to brush your hair multiple times a day to avoid tangles and matting. When brushing it’s very important that you brush all the way up to the seam of your extensions to prevent matting at the root or "top" of the wefts.

SLEEPING

Before going to bed, brush your hair thoroughly and make sure to put your hair in a low braid or a high bun. If you use a cotton pillowcase, consider switching to a silk pillowcase to help prevent frizz and dead ends!

Make sure you do NOT sleep on your extensions while they’re wet, it will damage your natural hair and can cause matting and mold.

What is IBE®?

Invisible Bead Extensions® is a method installing extensions in which hand tied hair is sewn onto a hidden beaded foundation. This method requires no glue, tape, bonds, or adhesives of any kind. Hair and scalp health is top priority with IBE; there is no tension, overdirection, or discomfort created by these extensions making them comfortable to wear! As an added bonus, they are very versatile when it comes to styling options!

What does maintenance look like?

Rows of invisible bead extensions should be completely removed and re installed every 6-10 weeks.

Do they hurt?

No! Most clients say they are very comfortable to wear and to sleep on!

How long will the hair last?

You can reuse the same hair for 6-12 months with proper and recommended at home care.

I have very thin hair, will this work for me?

Yes! This method was created for all densities and texture!

Can I wear my hair up?

Yes! The best part about IBE® is that this method is great for anyone who wears their hair up often. You can comfortably and discreetly wear a high pony/bun, braids etc.

Will these damage my hair?

With proper care at home, your extensions will not cause damage to your natural hair! The IBE® method was designed to have minimal points of contact, no tension or over direction of your natural hair.
