Born on an island in the Baltic Sea, I have a love-hate-relationship with the ocean. Growing up in a small town I also have a love-hate-relationship with people. In general and in particular. The way we dress and undress, show ourselves off and blend in, consume beauty and shape it at the same time.

My inspiration comes from all over. I can't really stop my brain from making associations which results in a lot of hastily made notes and doodles from which I later try to figure stuff out (I haven't figured much out). These sometimes become paintings, sketches, poems or embroideries. Sometimes they become nothing.

My CV includes some university courses in Art History, Fashion and Interior History and Graphic Design as well as one year of Painting and Sculpture at folk high school (kind of like a community college). I'm currently learning printmaking at a vocational university in Stockholm. I've done one solo exhibition at Almedalsbiblioteket in Visby.
