About

Everyone has a story.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I genuinely believe that everyone has a story that they can share with the world to inspire others and help others in a similar situation. For me, my story is road with many twists and turns, but that is what keeps life interesting.

In 2014, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Takayasus (a rare form of vasculitis). There is no “cure” for Vasculitis, and the medical professionals treat it the only way they know how- with powerful pills and medication. It was shortly after my diagnosis that I started to lose all of my hair. And let me tell you, I never realized how devastating that could be. Fast forward through a few more years of some really hard situations and a lot of stress, I ended up needing carotid bypass surgery.

But that wasn’t all- during some routine, pre-surgery tests, they discovered that I was also born with a bi-cuspid aortic arch valve.

By the grace of God, I survived my 11+ hour surgery. As I continue to be monitored by some of the best health professions in the world, I continually feel compelled to share my story and I am left with this sense of wanting to help.

So that is why I am here. Hair loss is so challenging. Rare diseases are so challenging. Life... can be so challenging. So let’s work together to help each other.

I’ve made it my mission to empower women(and men) who are struggling with hair loss, to regain their confidence. I believe in non-toxic ingredients, so I will always be talking about them. Feel free to take my hair quiz below, to get started on the non-toxic hair products train!

So, what’s your story?
