This is Me

Hi I’m Holly. Here are some fun facts about me!

I was born and raised in the beautiful PNW. My hometown is the small town of Angeles WA. My family and I also live in Port Angeles WA! I’m married to a welder with a beard as long as my hair 😉. I love the beard and him. And together we have 3 crazy kids. Leah 11, Liam 9, Lorelai 7. Yes all L’s. We have 2 dogs, and 2 cats. I love movement, I also love all things Disney especially the music, I’m a yogi enthusiast, avid outdoor cyclist, and also teach outdoor Donation-Based group fitness classes.

I am no stranger to trauma and have lived through mine, I’m an addict in recovery, and for the better part of my teen years through my early 20s battled with an eating disorder (bulimia). I could list all of the trauma I’ve experienced, and unhealthy ways I found to cope but I’m not going to. I’m sharing this because I want you to know who I am And where my love for movement and empowering women comes from. Through years and years of therapy, support, yoga and other movement I’ve been able to find another way. If you come to a class of mine I will do my best to make you feel welcomed and accepted.

I am a also ParaEducator, Private Cleaner, and Group Fitness Instructor. When I’m not doing any of those things you can find me riding my bike, drawing calligraphy, reading, playing board games, at our family lake house, doing anything with my kids, camping, and those are just to name a few lol. I love LOVE. Whoever you are, whatever your fitness level or financial situation, you are welcome in my classes. All of my classes are donation based. If you can afford to donate that’s great it does help me be able to continue to teach. If you can’t afford to that’s okay too. I’ve been there and I just want you here.

BUTi Yoga

What is BUTi?

Many may think of yoga as a soothing form of exercise, something that you can do when you fancy a bit of peace and quiet.

However, Buti Yoga will completely subvert everything that you thought you knew about the practice. Buti Yoga is a combination of traditional yoga moves, tribal dance and plyometrics.

Buti Yoga brings a variety of different movements together, including vinyasa-style yoga, tribal-inspired dancing and plyometric exercises (otherwise known as ‘jump training’).

The high-intensity classes are paired with pumping music and are open to people of all fitness abilities. Buti Yoga is no walk in the park - anyone taking part in one of these classes, whether in a fitness studio or at home, should expect to sweat buckets.

The workout employs the spiral structure technique (SST), a signature strengthening technique introduced by Buti Yoga that activates all areas of your abdominal muscles by using spiral movements, as opposed to linear ones.

While Buti Yoga is undoubtedly a physically testing dynamic form of exercise, it has also supposedly been designed to target your mental wellbeing as well.
