Founded in 2011, LYFF has three main programs. Our Love Your Feral Felines Barn Cat Program is designed to find homes for cats that have traditionally been deemed unadoptable through local shelters’ adoption procedures. The Under-Socialized LYFF Kitten Foster Program allows us to save kittens deemed “feral” from local shelters before they are euthanized. We place the kittens in loving foster homes, and after a few weeks, we end up with socialized kittens ready to be adopted to forever, indoor homes. Our newest program, Love Your Fixed Felines, provides quarterly, low-cost spay/neuter clinics in the local community. LYFF also helps educate the public on spaying/neutering and the process of trap/neuter/return (TNR) to reduce the number of feral cats and kittens entering shelters.
