LL64 11C / Natural Double Stuffed ‘22
This is THE boot for me. The LL64(Luke Larsson + the year Nicks became a company). This is the boot that forever changed my life. I designed this boot, I won a trip to Japan with this boot. This boot has my initials in the name. Nicks even did a limited run of 120 of these boots. In April of 2022 I was coming off a decent showing of the 2021/2022 Patina Thunderdome and was trying to come up with a cool boot for the 2022/23 contest. This is the boot that I came up with.
*The LL64 was a limited run so it is no longer available in this exact build. You can do a MTO build using the link below to get close to my pair or get creative and build something unique to you.

Aldert Strider 11C / Buckingham NOIX ‘22
After the 2021/2022 Patina Thunderdome I was ready for something a little more comfortable. I had a boot credit and went for the Aldert Strider. These almost became my Thunderdome pair but an ex-coworker talked me out of it and said that I should just wear them and not wait. He said that I would come up with something cool for the contest. He was correct. The build on these are super weird and have since been updated with a Cristy sole.

Traveler 11.5B / Black and Natural CXL ‘20
My second Nicks boot and first as an employee. For this boot I wanted to go with the Merriman but I want a fan of the ugly baby poop colored leather that was being used for the backstay. I found some Natural CXL from a previous run of boots and used that instead. I’m so happy I did. It’s what makes this boot special. *The Natural CXL is not available as an option.

Boot Care
How I Care for My Boots
Working for a boot company and being the winner of a certain, extremely nerdy boot patina contest, I get the boot care question a lot. So, I thought I’d write it down here. I keep it super simple, so you won’t find anything crazy or something weird that only I’ve figured out.
Veg Tanned Leather Care
The goal with all of my boots is to keep them looking good and have them age gracefully. This means that I don’t intentionally beat them up to make them look worn in faster. I don’t over-condition them, nor do I neglect them to the point where dirt starts to wear cracks into the leather. On the other hand, if my boots get scratched, nicked, or damaged a little bit during the wear process, that’s fine. I don’t freak out; it's part of the natural wear process and history of the boot.
1. Every week or two brush the dirt off with Nylon brush. Clean with damp cloth if needed.
2. Follow with Horsehair brush.
3 . Condition with Smith’s Leather Balm every month or two or as needed. Follow with horsehair brush.
