Lucy is a 4
year old lab/hound mix.
Born in Alabama, she was rescued from flood waters after being stranded for several days. After her rescue, she was transported to Midcoast Humane Society in Brunswick Maine for adoption.

Lucy was adopted to be a companion and Emotional Support Dog for a teenager with Autism. Lucy and her BFF, Cooper, had an instantaneous connection. The duo shares an amazing bond!

Lucy has the sweetest, friendliest personality which helps make her an ideal emotional support animal. She provides Cooper with unconditional love, loyalty and stability. She assists with his emotional and behavioral regulation.

In addition to her loving disposition, Lucy can actually say “I love you!” She’s been saying “I love you” to our family being adopted at 3 months old! We love sharing her talking videos on socials to make people smile and spread joy!

Lucy’s love inspired the creation of her Instagram page. ( @lucy_love_pup ) The page is dedicated to spreading the message of love, kindness and giving. It’s also an outlet to giveback through fundraisers, partnerships and awareness campaigns, focusing on adoption, autism and animal welfare initiatives.
