Malo e lelei, and welcome to my story.
A story consisting of a young Polynesian woman, originating from the beautiful islands of Tonga 🇹🇴🏝 who carries her hood South Auckland in her chest🤎🤝 And is willing to stand against the different propaganda that is set upon us, and show what we are really made of. A story of that same woman not only wanting, but actually fulfilling her dreams of living her life to the fullest, living her life freely and also as happily as it can be. 💫 A dream where it doesn’t just affect herself but also showing others in her community that the stigma placed upon Polynesian people, relying on a minimum waged, 9-5 job is the only way to survive. When it’s NOT!!!
Now let me show you how…⚡️
“Young and naive”… two words that have been reflected upon me every time I do dare to challenge those who are older or are in a higher position than me, and yes the same words that were also said to me when I told others I was going to take this chance, the chance that has you reading this, and guess what? I stood against that, I stood by what I thought was right and kept marching on. Which is why we and I are here today. But the words that do hurt the most, the 4 words that almost made me give up and stand down, the 4 “You can’t do it” said multiple times by who I know for a fact does the same to you, the voice louder than anybody else? Your own. The one within.
It will be that same exact voice that’ll probably stop you or empower you more to go ahead with this chance so that you may also conquer your dream life, fulfill your own happiness and to actually allow you to be FREE in life.
Now swipe to see how you can too.🏃💨
