I am the 36 year old daughter of the most fashion forward woman I know and the mom of one of the most artistically inclined girls I have ever met. My daughter and I don't typically see fashion the same way........ughhh.....
.....but I could use a break from my "comfort zone" from time to time. And from the day my OB-GYN said "It's a Girl!" My trend monitoring mom has been on her A-game, I even give her credit for my beautiful girls 1st grade "EMOJI AWARD" FOR BEST DRESSED. Now, shopping together seems like a chore, compromise is essential, and if we make it out of the mall TOGETHER, no stand-offs, cold shoulders, or silent treatments.....IT IS A CELEBRATED WIN. Just when I think we have surpassed the great generational divide, my creative kiddo inspired me to let creative spirit thrive and we started making friendship bracelets from kits. We enjoyed completing the look, but starting it was our struggle. Leaving me triggered to explore my artistic side that I never knew existed. This vibe doesn't get more luxe.
