My name is Maia Feruzi, I’m a 22 year old invisible illness warrior currently battling bipolar type 1, major anxiety and schizoaffective disorder. I live in Boston with my lovely calico yume where I do freelance photography, creative directing and study languages in my free time.

I’m currently actively studying Japanese, Spanish and French, with hopes of moving abroad sometime in 2022. I created this account at first simply to keep myself accountable, but now it’s a much larger than space than that. Maireflections is a community for all people of all types and backgrounds to come together with the common love of learning languages.

If you enjoy books and movies that’s an added bonus as I consume large amounts of both and like to review them. This space is also a non judgemental zone for other invisible illness warriors to feel validated and at peace here on the internet.
