My husband, Eamonn, and I bought his late grandparents home in April 2021. I told Eamonn my goal is to make this home feel like ours and not just the house he remembers visiting with no TV 😉 - but don’t worry, his grandparents memory will always live on in this home and beyond.

I’ve wanted a home of my own to decorate and have a space to work on DIY projects for sooo long. The day has finally come! My grandfather was a builder and my dad grew up building with him. They built my parents house together so I feel like DIY is in my blood 😉.

Our house was built in 1955 and has good bones. Now it’s just time to modernize it and make it feel like ours. Follow along as we flip furniture, transform bedrooms, knock down some wall 💪🏻, etc. Let the projects begin!
