About
Who's Mama?
Hi! I'm Rachel,
With over 10 years of caring for homes & families, I've found that combining mindfulness practice & house keeping, I am able to provide & teach my clients flow & functionality, personalized to their needs.
The home is our sanctuary. Everyone needs a safe, cozy place to retreat to! Let Mama help, hunny.
No, but WHO is she?
Meet Rachel
Hi!
I'm Rachel. I have a son & a few pets, & I enjoy being creative & active. I'm a young, determined dreamer with the vision of changing the way we see ourselves & each other! I'm a holistic focused, spiritual, believer of energies and science. I am an advocate for mental health awareness, accessible resources & assistance, justice, & equality.
I've been caring for families & cleaning since I was about 15 & I've always felt like an entrepreneur at heart. So I started building Mama's Broom Service in June, 2020. I've been practicing yoga and mindfulness as ways to raise my awareness, to become a happier, better mother & person overall.
What mindfulness has taught me is that caring for our mind first is the most important thing we can do for ourSelf*. We all struggle at some point to find balance-whether it be in the home or other areas of our lives. No struggle is greater than anothers'. Our perception is personal to each individual & we can only be accountable for our own.
When we learn how to become more mindful of ourselves, we become more aware of our needs. When we are able to become more mindful of each other, we can become more aware of each other! Which all leads to living a happier, more balanced life.
Ultimately, being mindful provides us with a way to raise our awareness of others, reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles, to see each other & to support & love each other!
*you'll see me refer to one's own person as mySelf, yourSelf, ourSelves, just as we capitalize our names. You are divinely respected!
