Marcella Zigbuo Camara is a Liberian American independent curator, cultural organizer, creative director, and daughter of the South. Born in North Carolina and based in Los Angeles, Marcella tells stories about Black realities through intentional curatorial projects, place making, writing, and cultural organizing. She has been invited as a guest curator at multiple galleries, has produced 7 independent group exhibitions including Maroon Archive at PopBox Gallery in 2022. She currently stewards The Library of Black Ephemera, a physical and digital archive of books and found photos, as well as works as a freelance creative director and producer.
