Placing Courage Above Fear
Hey there! My name is Maria. I was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. I’m married to my high-school sweetheart, who means the world to me. We have two dogs- a Great Dane (Mack), and an Aussie/Terrier mix (Ivy).
We reached a point in our lives where we just felt “stuck”. Feeling unfulfilled in our jobs, with little opportunity in a small town. My husband, Chad, is in the medical field and has been dreaming of continuing his education for quite some time now.
As of recently, we were presented with an opportunity that we’ve been waiting on for so long. We were faced with a defining moment that could change the whole trajectory of our lives. Do we stay where we feel comfortable? Do we risk it all and go for it?
Nonetheless, we decided to venture outside of our comfort zone and take on this risk...
We dropped everything to move over 1,000 miles away from home so my hubby could begin medical school in Florida. We packed minimal necessities to bring with us, and of course, we brought our pups along! Medical school is not an easy road, but we are ready for the challenges.
The journey itself and adjusting to our new life hasn’t been the easiest so far. It is incredibly scary, yet so exciting for us. Chad is doing well in school and we are so grateful for the opportunity!
As for me, I needed a job that was flexible since we will be moving out of the country in a few months to continue his schooling at the main campus. My goal was to find a job that I could perform remotely. So I decided to join a natural skincare company that sells luxury, plant-based products at affordable prices. This company is Ro Skin USA.
I started out as a sales rep for the company, and have recently been promoted to a regional management position, while still having the freedom and flexibility to work from anywhere. If anyone would like to learn more about Ro Skin and our opportunities, just let me know!
I will be providing updates throughout this journey of ours. I hope this inspires those who haven’t found the courage to take the chance on a new opportunity. Life can’t be lived to the fullest while remaining where we feel comfortable... one of my tattoos says “In the waves of change, we find our true direction.” And it couldn’t be more true for us right now.
So I encourage you to take a chance on that dream of yours, instead of worrying about the “what if’s”. Do it for yourself. Do it for your family. Do it for happiness.
Just leap.
