ST. JOHN, USVI

Pristine land of natural beauty and clear blue waters. The beaches are breathtaking. I recommend Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, and my favorite Honeymoon Bay. Snorkeling and kayaking are musts. Charter a boat for fishing and enjoy delicious eats at Lime Out, Lime Inn, Extra Virgin Bistro, The Long Board, Morgan’s Mango, and Cruz Bay Landing.

Spend a night on Broadway and visit the Gulch for great shopping. The food does not disappoint. Hattie Bs was a favorite as well as Tootsies Orchid Lounge. There so many great things to do I can’t wait to go back to experience more this summer.

INDIAN ROCKS, FL

This secret little hideaway has the most gorgeous of sunsets. It’s family friendly and not over populated. The waters are calm and the paddle boarding is refreshing. Book your dinner reservations ahead of time. We couldn’t get in anywhere.

I love to stay at the River Street Inn. This historic cotton warehouse turned hotel over looks the river and is right on River Street. It’s blocks from the city market and calming views of the boats coming in and even a peek of the dolphins. The moss trees are just beautiful, and in Forsyth Park you can find the Farmer’s Market on Saturday. Plan to head down to Tybee Island for a laidback beach experience. Eat on the beach at a fun seafood shack like North Beach and you won’t be disappointed.

POCONCO MOUNTAINS, PA

Nature lovers this one’s for you. The mountain slopes are peaceful. My favorite was the waterfalls especially since they were frozen when we visited. Snow tube and ski down Shawnee mountain and hit up the water parks too. Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge were both super fun. No great restaurant recommendations here but I am open to hearing what you found.

LAS VEGAS, NV

I recommend a long weekend not an entire week or you are going to be exhausted. You can stay awake 48 hours without even knowing it. The shows to me are the very best part. Food is pretty amazing as well. Take a trip on the high roller and get the beverage cart for sure to scope out the lands. Check out the Bellagio fountains and dine in their restaurant. Play blackjack at Caesars and then head for some thrill rides on the Stratosphere. I was one and done… guess I am not too adventurous 😂 I liked staying at Mandalay Bay also as the aquarium was fun to see. There is a rooftop bar that I just adored near by.

I hear the Hoover Dam is a short car trip away and must add that for my next visit.
