With a strong foundation based on Sassoon Academy education, I have worked at some of the leading salons in Boston, Washington DC and NYC as well as having been a National Color Educator for a major beauty company. I have over 27 years experience. Hair trends are important, however I am more interested in creating your personal hair story.

The process to create that story is detailed, it involves the two of us working together to find out what truly makes you feel sexy and beautiful.

I then use my skills and holistic hair care approach to deliver beautiful, manageable and healthy hair created specifically to meet your needs and life.

I specialize in a technique called BIO-LIGHTS which utilizes organic cotton in place of foil. The organic cotton allows the air to flow through and prevent unnecessary heat damage to the hair and also delivers a softer grow out similar to balayage. As a bonus it keeps our carbon foot print done as well.

BIO-LIGHTS SPECIALIST

BIO-LIGHTS is a technique developed by my friend Master Hue Director Rick Wellman. Rick and I worked together during my time in NYC and I was able to learn and understand this technique in depth.

BIO-LIGHTS are 100% organic cotton used to replace Aluminum foil. Aluminum foil takes up to 100 years to breakdown in a land fill. Organic Cotton takes a tenth of that time at the most. So our impact on the earth is reduced immensely.

Aside from this traditional aluminum foil traps the heat inside of the foil as it is processing causing some heat damage to the hair. It is also a stiff material that has its limitations in placement for a dimensional color. Lastly when you use aluminum foil you create a solid line where the foil is placed.

BIO-LIGHTS is organic cotton like a t shirt, so the air flows through it causing no heat damage , Its maliable texture allows you to place it anywhere needed to achieve beautiful dimensional coloring. Your grow out of BIO-LIGHTS is soft like balayage due to the cotton and how it is used. You will get no solid lines at the scalp area.
