Those that knew Mark can agree he truly lived through coaching. On and off the field, Mark saw the world through the eyes of a devoted coach - whether it was lifting someone up with one of his well-known catch phrases or grabbing a burger for a kid between games, his grace never stopped.

We know Dad would want us to celebrate his journey today, and recognize the difference he made in so many lives - young, old and in between. What better way to continue his legacy than on the field he adored, in the county he loved, teaching kids the fundamentals of his favorite sport.

By starting Mark Michael Sports Foundation we hope to keep his dream and legacy thriving for years to come. We deeply feel that this is the best way to honor him and his dedication to the sports community.

For all future football players we’ll be hosting a summer camp and offering one scholarship to a Fauquier county senior each year in honor of his spirit and mentorship!
