About Me

My name is Marlea Mariposa Kilgore-Pruneda!
I'm a senior at Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas with a passion for musical theatre!
After graduation I hope to receive a BFA/BA in Musical Theatre. I have always had a huge love for theatre arts but it wasn't until my freshman year that I decided I wanted to spend the rest of my life in the theater.

I strive to use my social media as a positive platform to uplift both myself and others, raise awareness of social injustices, and the importance of mental health.
As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety, and ADHD on the daily I work very hard to be forward about my experiences and help others with the tips that have helped me.
Being LGBT and latinx also has a great impact on the things I post and how i express myself online.
I strive to empower myself and others with the things I post and I work very hard to be unapologetically myself online and not let others opinions and prejudice affect my happiness.

When I'm not at rehearsals, I like to spend time with my cat Juniper or listening to some new music. Some of favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Breathing Space, and Dodie.
As a MT kid i obviously adore listening to Broadway cast recordings as well, some of my favorites are Falsetto's, Bonnie and Clyde, and The last 5 years.
