Hello my name is Mary batthany and I am a starving artist in the catskill mountains.

I was born on long island in 1963 and graduated from Mattituck High School on the north fork of Long Island. I moved to the Catskill Mountains in in 1974 and ever since I have called these mountains home.
I was a house wife for most of my adult life and now am disabled. I always said I never created my art for money. It was just gifts I wanted to give away to my friends and family, but now my first grand child has had two beautiful babies of her own. I decided with love in my heart to finally sell some of my work to help support my grandchildren.
My work is a reflection of my life. From the rolling hills of my beautiful Catskill Mountains to the beaches of Long Island and the rest of my travels around this beautiful planet.
