Questlove’s documentary Summer of Soul captures a Black music festival that took place in Harlem in 1969. Its had legendary performances from artist Gladys Knight, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Sly & Success the Family Stone, Ray Barretto and more.

You can stream it on Hulu or watch it in select theaters.

I loved it and it sent me into a glorious tail spin of music documentaries that brought me to life.

Located in the middle of no where in Mendocino county is Orr Hot Spring. It’s my favorite place to lose cell reception and WiFi. I trade them in for mineral pools, the natural setting and unlimited bath tubs.

*Not for you if you don’t want to make small talk naked with complete strangers. But that’s definitely a highlight for me.

Matthew makes and incredible Key Lime Pie with a chocolate gram cracker crust that is just incredible. I know that the limes are not in season but it didn’t stop this pie from being amazing.

There’s no link to the recipe because He simple combined a key lie pie recipe with a chocolate gram cracker crust recipe and made its baby.

I highly recommend you do the same it will be well worth it.
