Booking Information

Please read thouroughly before booking an appointment with me!

Hello
Thank you so much for considering my work to add to your tattoo collection.

While I do my best to decrease the risk of Covid-19, there is still a risk of contracting Covid-19 while getting a tattoo. If you or someone you are in close contact with is at high risk of contracting Covid-19 due to a preexisting condition or a compromised immune system, please carefully consider whether you should be getting a tattoo at this time.

I solely travel for my tattoo appointments, I do not have my own studio. I require a safe and clean place where I can do my work. Please do NOT ask me for a location because I will not provide one. I do have a mileage fee of $25 if I must travel over 35 miles (extra per 25 miles). I do not tattoo minors. Masks are required during the appointment whether you are vaccinated or not. No person other than the client can piggy back off of an appointment unless I am aware of it 24 hours prior to the session.

I have plenty of my flash sheets available on my Instagram. Consider checking them out to get a sense of my style! Some designs are unique, which means I will only tattoo them once. If you like a design that I’ve already done, I’d be happy to make a unique variation of it for you.

I do not copy other artists work, please do NOT ask me to copy another tattoo. Please do not send photos of existing tattoos. Please resist sending photos right off Pinterest. I design only in my style. I offer flash tattoos or custom tattoos!

I have a $150 minimum for designs. Please let me know if you have a budget so we can figure something out that we can both feel comfortable and excited with.

Booking requires a non-refundable $50 deposit to reserve an appointment time and/or unique design.
This $50 deposit will go toward the final amount of the tattoo. The remaining balance (to be paid on the day of your appointment) must be paid in cash, but there are credit exceptions. Tipping is deeply appreciated if it is within your means.

If you think you have been exposed to Covid-19, are feeling unwell, or need to reschedule/ cancel your appointment for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible so I may offer the spot to another client. Deposits are typically non-refundable but exceptions will be made for Covid related issues.

If you do not confirm your appointment the day of for whatever reason and want to book another appointment, you will have to make another deposit.

For any questions or concerns not addressed above, feel free to email me at mellowgravettts@gmail.com.

Please do not reach out to me through direct message or on my personal account, I will not reply to those who contact me through there. Thank you!

Tattoo Aftercare  —

Follow these tips to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully!

Taking care of your tattoo ensures it heals properly and makes sure it looks great long term.
For the saniderm wrap, you may remove it after 5-8 hours. I recommend leaving it on for 24 hours to keep your fresh tattoo protected.

Before you wash your tattoo, fluid may collect under the wrap. This is normal as fluid and excess ink comes out of the skin.
Remove your wrap and wash the area with cool, soapy water.

Gently pat the area dry with a clean towel and let your tattoo air dry. Do not rub the skin.

Your tattoo may continue to weep for up to 24 hours after your appointment.

Do not apply lotion or cover your tattoo for the first day. Your tattoo needs to breathe.

Wear loose breathable clothing and avoid vigorous activity for at least 24 hours.

Continue to wash it at least twice a day for up to four weeks or until your tattoo is completely healed, and pat the area dry with a clean towel.

Apply unscented lotion or other neutral moisturizer to the skin on a daily basis. Be careful to avoid over moisturizing in the first few days.

Your tattoo may scab or peel. This is part of the healing process. Do not remove the scab or pick at peeling skin as it may lift the ink.

Showers are okay, but no baths or submerging your tattoo for two weeks. No pools, saunas, or swimming please.
Please avoid tanning beds.

Protect your tattoo from direct sunlight. After it heals always apply sunscreen with an SPF at least over 30 when your tattoo is in direct sunlight. This will help keep your tattoo bright for many years.

I am not responsible for how your tattoo heals, it is your complete responsibility to care for your own tattoo.

Touch-ups may be required as tattoos change with your body. It’s natural for tattoo ink to fade or fall out over time. I offer free touch-ups because we want the tattoos to look their best for as long as possible. Please allow your tattoo to heal for at least one month before booking a touch-up appointment.

If you notice signs of infection (fever, pus, redness, and swelling) or increased bleeding at the site of the tattoo, you should contact your doctor immediately.
