The definition of health is a state of physical, mental, and social well being. There are many different aspects of well being. Everyone has their own unique combination of what works for them when it comes to feeling your best. As a personal trainer making people feel their best is something I’m passionate about.
My objective is to design custom tailored programs to match your unique goals and individuality. There is no one size fits all when it comes to taking care of yourself. I have an adept knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness practices to help my clients look AND feel their greatest. On this page I can share my personal experience with health and fitness, and together we can fine tune yours.
Fitness - to avoid platue, I like to switch things up with my fitness quite a bit. Some days I do more Pilates and barre based workouts. Other days I do strength/ resistance training. I also like to incorporate, several days a week of flexibility training. I often do yoga before bed, even if it’s just for 20 minutes.
Nutrition - I feel the healthiest when I eat mostly whole foods. Unprocessed foods that are closest to their natural state. I also do intermittent fasting a few days a week. Just like with my workouts I switch it up, I don’t intermittent fast everyday because my body will get used to it and it will become less effective.
Mindfulness - I believe in the power of gratitude. I have suffered with anxiety my whole life and focusing on the positive has been an integral part of my well being. I practice positive affirmations as well as cognitive behavioral therapy.
