I believe life is to be lived and food is to be enjoyed. No one deserves to feel restricted or exhausted of eating the same thing and not enjoying physical activity. I workout 5 days per week and believe in eating everything in moderation. I was once living in a bubble of restriction and can tell you it is not a fun place to be. I’ve slowly learnt to love and accept my body and having a child has probably helped with that. I’m human and I still have my moments but overall I know my triggers and can whip them into place when needed.
Today’s social media has made the realistic, idealistic and obtainable physic so unrealistic thus leaving a lot of people feeling down about themselves and wondering why they don’t look a certain way.
I hope to encourage body positivity, to set a realistic standard, to promote balance and encourage health both mentally and physically.
