A note from me - why I’m leaving IG and where you can find me
I have decided to take a break from Instagram
To be honest, my health is in a fragile state right now.
After being diagnosed with gallstones during labor with my daughter I’ve had to make drastic changes to my health and lifestyle
I took a 3 month hiatus from social media and in that time, I began to heal
I felt better so I came back stronger than ever and yet, after a few weeks my health started to deteriorate
The pressure of putting out content and being on all the time brought my stress levels and anxiety back in the snap of my fingers
I wish I could be that person that could handle it, that could show up for everyone and for myself
And I hope to be that someday, but for now I’m pulling back on social media and moving back into my happy place - being with my baby, my husband, and creating fun and informative beauty content and vlogs on my YouTube channel
So if you like what you see on my IG and want more from me, consider swiping right to subscribe to my YouTube channel.
I’d love to have you and that’s where I’ll be hanging out for now.
I’ve also created really amazing relationships with a lot of you that I don’t want to lose, so I’m sending out a newsletter to share my journey to healing through clean beauty, falling back in love with food, being off social media, and being with my daughter.
I’m not here to offer tips and tricks to getting to some standard of health or beauty, we have enough of that.
I’m here to share with you the realness: the ups and downs, the backs and forths, the highs and lows of what life is like to be healing on all levels in this crazy world.
I hope to shed light on something to help you see you’re not alone and to create a community of support, love, and understanding free of judgment where we can love ourselves completely and finally heal from society’s standards and be free to be who we truly are.
We’re in this together.

a scoop of clean beauty ➞
makeup should be good for you.
i don’t know if you know this but breakouts, weight gain, migraines, exhaustion can all be traced back to the toxins and harmful chemicals in conventional makeup.
in my quest to find truly clean makeup that doesn’t interfere with my health condition ive found very few that actually meet what i need
i’m not in the clean beauty space become it’s trendy, i’m in it because my health depends on it.
it frustrates and angers me how there are so many makeup and beauty brands out there in the mainstream and “clean” beauty space that carry harmful and autoimmune disrupting ingredients with no one to dispute or share about it
the makeup I used (and slept in) tbh and the societal standards of beauty placed on us as young adults and grown women is truly toxic on many levels and has and does lead to the outbreak of health issues and diet issues women (and men) face in the world.
And I’m here to call it out and share all I’ve learned and am still learning about makeup and it’s effects on health in a fun (yes I’m fun, I’m not always so serious lol) entertaining way.

a cup of diet freedom ➞
there are so many opinions about what’s “right”.
let that all fall away + join a judgment-free community of women finding their path to ultimate health, self-acceptance, and joy with food.
let’s cut the fat, shall we? the diet industry is an industry- designed to make a profit
the diet industry has weaved an intricate web of diet culture, fat shaming, body shaming, and impossible body and aesthetics standards that are impossible to live up to - all in an effort to keep us inthediet fat race ever getting out
and what I’ve learned in my 10 years with an autoimmune diseased, is that playing this game keeps us in a cycle of never ending diets dis-ease and at the mercy of “experts” to tell us what we have to do
We lose our sense of self - our trust in our own intuition and our bodies’ wisdom leaving us in a state of constant confusion and unrest leading to elevated levels of stress and in a constant fight or flight response.
In order to truly heal we have to get ourselves out of the diet rat race and choose ourselves - get educated and liberate ourselves from the status quo.
I haven’t figured it all out yet but I believe I’m on the straightest path to get there I’ve been on yet.
