Blue Gelato #41 from Ieso Alchemy line Review

Last week I went by Curaleaf Mokena to re-up on some green & gold and was looking to try something I don’t normally get; sugar. Now I rarely get sugar because I hate handling it even with the proper tools, just seems to leave me more frustrated. But this batch of sugar from Ieso was AMAZING. It had chunks of crystals in the jar and NO SAUCE, just how I like my sugar.

Lemon Runtz Cart from the Ieso“Cultivate” line review

Genetics: Runtz x Lemon Tree

Type: Hybrid

THC: 74.83%

Breeder: Elev8 Seeds

So I have been trying to get my hand on this Lemon Runtz cart from Ieso & saw it on the menu today over at Curaleaf Worth, so I swung by.

Lately I have taken a break from vapes but after picking this one up and giving it a few puffs, I can say that I am happy with my decision.

When I puffed on this cart it had a strong flavor profile along with a nice smooth hit that didn’t leave any tickles. This cart has a very tropical flavor to it coming with a sweet citrusy flavor matched with a hint of sweet pineapple.

Lemon Runtz is a hybrid that has an amazing euphoric feeling that leaves you feeling mentally uplifted, while also hitting you with a heavy sedative body high. After a couple puffs off this I was giggling and having a time but I was slouched and locked in place.

I definitely would recommend this strain to someone who is dealing with chronic pain, migraines and depression as this helped eliminate any pain I was dealing with.

Really enjoyed this cart from Ieso & will be getting more to review in the future hopefully!

Orange Pie from Rythm Review

So it’s been about a year since I have had any Rythm flower after I got tired of poor trim jobs, but yesterday I saw a deal on some Orange Pie that I couldn’t pass up.

This batch was coming in at 23% THC and was super fresh and sticky with a strong aroma. When I opened the jar I was hit with a very gassy and tart aroma with citrusy orange undertones.

After I picked this into a bowl and smoked it, I felt an extreme state of sedation set in while also easing my knee and back pain. This strain also seemed to help give me more of an appetite as well!

Overall I was impressed with this batch for being the first one I’ve grabbed in a year, definitely not the worst trim job I’ve seen in Illinois.

Overall, I would definitely get this strain again and add it to my “End of Day” strains and recommend it for anyone dealing with insomnia, chronic pain or appetite issues.

Pineapple Express by Cresco Review

The other day I visited the Curaleaf Mokena location to grab some more products to review for the medical community and along with the Ice Cream Cake that I reviewed, I also got some Pineapple Express from Cresco as well.

This Pineapple Express from Cresco is one of the most aroma packed flower I have seen from the state and cultivator. This batch was also grown by their Lincoln cultivation team, harvested on 4/13 of this year and packaged on 6/11 giving it a nice amount of time to dry & cure.

Which it was such a good cure that the moment I opened the jar, I was hit with a strong floral/piney aroma from the Terpinolene terps and nice peppery/herbal undertones coming from the Myrcene found in this strain.

While the Pineapple Express 8th wasn’t just 3 big nugs like the ICC was, it still had a nice structure, squeeze and caked with trichomes.

This strain is listed as a hybrid and honestly, it might be one of the best hybrids in the Illinois market while still leaning more on the Sativa side. Within 10 minutes of smoking a bong, I could feel a a slight euphoric rush making me feel happy and giggly while at social events while also feeling relaxed by putting my anxiety at ease.

In the end I would put this in my “middle of the day” smoke as it was enough to help keep me focused while also not feeling stressed out or struggling with any fatigue from depression. I definitely would recommend this for those who struggle with anxiety or depression and need a little boost in social situations.

Another great grow from my friends down at the Lincoln grow.

Lime Skunk Wax Budder by High Supply Review

So happy I was able to get some of this, Lime Skunk is my favorite strain from Cresco & Hugh Supply. This is a heavy hitting Sativa that smells like a freshly cut lime when you open it, and the smoke is just as citrusy on the exhale.

Unlike many Sativas I find this one to actually help with my anxiety as well as help me feel creative and focused on what I’m working on at the time.

This strain is great for also helping as a good mood booster for those who struggle with depression.

The texture of this was nice and budder like, the flavor profile was outstanding and mouthwatering. Overall, I will always recommend this strain to those who need to focus or looking for a mood booster after a long night or day.

Cake Mints by Ozone Review

I’m so happy I was able to get some of this Cake Mints before it went off the menus at work. This batch is coming in at a whopping 33% THC and is super fresh to the nose and is that sticky icky everyone’s looking for.

When I popped this jar open I felt like I was driving a lemon that crashed into a gas station. The citrusy and gassy aroma were strong with a nice tart & earthy undertone.

Inside the jar was a beautiful day bud and two other small ones, this flower had beautiful hues of green and light shades of purple throughout. The bud was super dense with a nice structure and left my fingertips sticky after breaking into the bud.

When I smoked this in my bong, I was immediately hit with a nice head reset, making my anxiety & depression go away while feeling uplifted and focused.

Cherry Chem “Kitchen Shake” by Columbia Care Review

Grabbed some “Kitchen Shake” of Cherry Chem from Columbia Care today over at Curaleaf Mokena.

However, this isn’t your grandma’s oregano shake. This is Cherry Pie x NYC Chem with an amazing terpene profile for shake. When I opened the jar I was hit with a peppery punch with citrusy & hoppy undertones coming from the Mycenae, Pinene & Caryophyllene terps in the strain.

When it comes to looks, it was a nice shade of green with a very nice grind. I didn’t see any unwanted stems, ect. Therefore leaving this for an amazing shake to pack into a cone and roll up.

After smoking some of this after a shift of work, I could feel myself relaxing and feeling the anxiety from the day go away.

Definitely happy I scooped this one up and will be adding to my “after work” list of strains.

Tropicana Cookies Live Sugar by Grassroots Review

Overall I really enjoyed the terpene profile of this strain along with the strong effects I felt from it. I felt a nice stress free and happy while not having to worry about being couch locked. This was a great Sativa strain for going about your day without having to worry about a crash or any extra anxiety.

Definitely will be picking this up again, hopefully we see some buckets of it soon.
