Mo'ments

We all have different journeys in life, and mine has led me to the path of healing and self-discovery. Along this transformative journey, I realised my desire for a career that truly reflects my authentic self and embodies my values.

With this purpose in mind, I developed a concept focused on supporting and building a community for mothers. I have witnessed the tremendous dedication and sacrifice that mothers put into caring for their newborns, often leaving little time for themselves during maternity leave. This is where I step in.

Whether it's for a few hours or on alternate days, my role is to provide mothers with the invaluable opportunity to have some time for themselves or attend to household matters while I care for their baby.

When the fathers' paternity leave comes to an end, I aim to create a safe and nurturing environment, offering emotional support to mothers and ensuring the baby receives the comforting care they need.

Additionally, I will utilise my qualifications as a nail technician to offer traditional and luxury pedicures exclusively for mothers, allowing them to unwind and relax while their baby sleeps. By taking care of the mother's well-being, we benefit not only her but also the baby and the entire household.

My educational background includes studying early childhood development and completing an infant and baby care course. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with babies, toddlers, and children up to the age of 7.

This hands-on experience has honed my intuition when it comes to understanding baby cues. Even in challenging situations, my calming presence and patient nature shine through. Working with children and serving others has always been my calling, and I am grateful that I have found a path where I can utilise my skills and gifts to serve a higher purpose.

I strongly believe that postnatal care is just as important as pregnancy itself. I have witnessed firsthand how bridging the gap for a mother improves her quality of life during this precious time.

"In the first few weeks I didn't think I'd need help with my baby because I was taking maternity leave (my focus was going to be on the baby) but as time past by, as I was losing more sleep, staying up during the night for longer periods, it started slowly affecting me emotionally and it was becoming a mental challenge to do daily tasks.

Mo stepped in to help me out. She would come to my house, and "relieve" me She taking care of my child so that I could, shower, make up my bed, sweep the house, basic household chores including taking care of myself (this includes taking a well deserved nap).

Overall this helping hand helped improve my mood, my emotional and mental state.

Mo is always patient with me and my baby and she speaks positively to baby.. When baby is upset (screaming crying), she always remains calm, she reassures baby that baby is safe, and that baby is okay ...

I would recommend Mo. Every mother deserves this treat, and she has got the right attitude and passion for the job."

" I would recommend Monique as a day nanny.
In the five months that she's been working for us, she has provided exceptional care for my little boy, from the age of 4 months.

Her dedication and love for children/babies is really what made this period a breeze for us all. She has so much patience which was major concern for me when looking for a nanny for my baby boy.

She has proven to be responsible, and very nurturing and would be an amazing addition to any family who may be looking for someone to care for their child/ren."
